SCOOTER PATROL JOINS FORCES WITH
MOTHER’S AGAINST DRUNK DRIVING TO SERVE LOS ANGELES COUNTY
September 5, 2006 - Scooter Patrol members and supporters will meet with Mother’s Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Los Angeles representatives at Mahe’ in Seal Beach on Friday, September 8th at 6:30pm.
The dinner is in preparation for the MADD, Los Angeles County 3rd annual 5K charity walk, Strides for Change, on October 21, 2006 at the Long Beach Queen Mary Events Park to raise funds for their free programs and services.
Scooter Patrol, a local non-profit organization committed to keeping drunk drivers off the road, is thrilled to join forces with the Los Angeles County Chapter of MADD a non-profit grass roots organization whose mission it is to stop drunk driving and support victims of alcohol related crashes.
President of Scooter Patrol, Anthony Panzica commented, “There is no other organization on planet earth that has done more for the issue of DUI than Mother’s Against Drunk Driving over the past 26 years. No question about it, they’re just an amazing group of people. It’s safe to say that the partnership with MADD’s support makes Scooter Patrol and MADD’s dream to keep our children and communities a safe reality. I believe that this is the beginning of a long and productive traffic safety relationship between us that will benefit everyone.”
Founded in 2003, Scooter Patrol is ensuring that people can go out, enjoy themselves, and not feel pressured to drive their vehicle home if they are too impaired to do so - making the road a less dangerous place for everyone. Scooter Patrol guarantee’s you and your vehicle home safely.
