SCOOTER PATROL - PROVIDING WARNER BROS. BEERFEST PREMIERE PARTY-GOERS WITH A DESIGNATED DRIVER
Los Angeles, CA - (August 18, 2006) Scooter Patrol -A non-profit organization committed to keeping drunk drivers off the road will be volunteering their services this Monday, August 21st at the premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures Beerfest at Grauman’s Chinese Theater, in Hollywood, CA.
Well, it looks like Oktoberfest may have come a little early this year. Grab your beer stein and get ready for the premiere of Beerfest. The screening is set from 7-9pm, which will be directly followed by an after party, German-style. Premiere goers are invited to continue the fun at the Beer Garden, located in the Grant Parking Lot, connected to the Grauman’s Chinese theater on the corner of Hollywood and Orange. Beer, food, drinking games from around the world will be available. The fun and festivities will be from 9pm-12am.
After the party-goers have their fill of beer, Bavarian pretzels, beer, beer and more beer, Scooter Patrol will be on site to drive intoxicated people home. The Scooter Patrol volunteer will stow a GoPed Scooter in the party-goer’s vehicle trunk or storage compartment. The beer drinker will then be driven home safely in the comfort and security of their own vehicle. Once arriving home, the party goer can rest assured that they are safe, and their vehicle is out of harm's way. Service is free of charge and gratuities are accepted.
When Scooter Patrol isn’t volunteering at events, such as the Beerfest premiere, the concept is simple: After having a few drinks, a potential drunk driver simply contacts Scooter Patrol, by calling either the Long Beach or Orange County Chapter, and requests service.

Founder of Scooter Patrol, Anthony Panzica commented, "It will be a blast to work with Warner Bros. on their Beerfest premiere. After spending over a decade in the entertainment industry myself, it's really gratifying to be able to give back to this community by making this event and the streets of Hollywood a little safer."
Scooter Patrol is ensuring that people can go out, enjoy themselves, and not feel pressured to drive their vehicle home if they are too impaired to do so - making the road a less dangerous place for everyone.
